Hi, my name is Tessa Platek, and I’m a videographer and video editor based in Austin, Texas.

I’ve always been passionate about storytelling, and was originally pursuing a degree in journalism from the University of Chapel Hill, until an internship for a magazine company landed me in the videography department. From the second a camera was placed in my hands, I knew that I had found the path I was meant to pursue. I switched my major to Communications with a focus in Media Production, and have now been creating video content professionally for over ten years. 

My career has allowed me to explore all avenues of the field; from advertisements to documentaries, editorial content to social media videos, podcasts to live event coverage; I’ve seen it all and loved every second of it.
